Aberdeen Golf Club
Eureka, MO, 63025
October 17-18 2009

Director: Scott

Golfers can now enjoy a true links-style championship golf course. Designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Kern, Aberdeen Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 72, links-style golf course. The unique layout features undulating zoysia and native grass terrain, sod wall bunkering, two lakes, and bentgrass greens against a picturesque backdrop of the Meramec River bluffs.

While true linksland is not present in Missouri, the Meramec River floodplain has been sculpted to resemble the landscape found on the old courses in Scotland. The course character and strategy are adaptations of the elements found on the classic links courses. With its five sets of tees, excellent service, and premium golf course conditions, Aberdeen Golf Club is certain to become your favorite "Scottish Golf Experience"!

25 PJGT players teed it up at Aberdeen Golf Club in St.Louis, MO. on this wonderful links-style course. Saturday felt like the British Open...cloudy, windy and cold, with very slick greens.

Boys 8-9 Division Carson Miles continues to impress with outstanding attitude, effort, and sportsmanship.

Boys 10-11 Division Jacob Eckland won again with scores of 92-81. Jacob was also the Weekend Medalist for all 8-11 Divisions. Congratulations Jacob!

Boys 12-13 Division Satchel Conroy won for the first time on the PJGT with scores of 87-92.
Ryan Martin came in second with a two-day total of 197.

Boys 14-15 Division Austin Wheeler jumped out with an amazing round of 75 on Saturday, garnering a nine shot lead going into Sunday. Wheeler won with a two-day total of 152. Congrats to Austin Piephoff on his career best 78 on Sunday. Piephoff and Mark Stalhuth went to the wire in 3rd place playoff, with Stalhuth winning by less than three feet in the final playoff round.

Boys 16-19 Division Alex Doneff captured Saturday medalist honors with 73 Saturday. Five players were within four shots of the lead going into Sunday. Alex Staskiel placed second with scores of 75-76. Nick Goeke took third with a 77-76. What a tightly contested finish! Warren Crow won his first PJGT event with scores of 75-75=150, capturing Weekend Medalist Honors for all the 12-19 Divisions as well. Congrats to Chase Hobbs for shooting personal best 153 this weekend.
